How long will it take to get my pictures?
You should get your photos approximately 10 business days from the time we receive your order.
How long do the photos stay on the website?
Eighteen months.
What type of camera do you use?
The photos are taken with a Motordrive Canon Digital Camera. All files are shot at the highest resolution possible. Before printing each file is individually color-corrected and precisely adjusted to maximize the color
and sharpness.
What type of prints will I get?
The prints are printed by hand on a 7-color digital printer. We use a photo-type paper that assures rich, true color and fade resistance. The sharpness and quality of our prints are what we pride ourselves in. You can be confident that the photos you are buying are of exceptional quality.
If the photo is not on the website but I have ordered a print previously can I order another at a later date?
Yes. We keep order information (except credit card numbers) in our database. We can look up the order and make additional prints if requested.
I like your discount print package. Can I have prints of different shots at the package price?
No. The custom print package is for prints of the same photo. Sorry no substitutions.
Do you sell digital files?
Due to large demand we are offering digital files for purchase in two packages:
Digital Pack A contains 2 JPEG files, one sized 860x580 and one sized 600x400. Both are low-resolution, full JPEG's at a screen resolution of 72 ppi, optimal for web sites and e-mail.
Digital Pack B contains 1 high-resolution JPEG file, suitable for use on a desktop printer or at a professional lab, and the 2 low-resolution JPEG files included in Digital Pack A.
The files are delivered to you on a CD. As with our print package, the files are all from a single image.
I want a size that's not listed. Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Call or email us for a quote.
Are these all the photos you have?
Yes. We edit the photos prior to putting them on the site. Any photo that does not meet the quality standard is not shown. To insure that we get a shot of your player, talk to the photographer before the event.
What if I don't like the photo I ordered?
Email us explaining the problem. It is important to us that you are happy with the photos. If for any reason a customer is unhappy with the quality of the product delivered we will issue a credit card refund for the amount billed (by us for that order) to their credit card within 20 days of the initial placement of the order.
What is commercial use?
Commercial use is defined as publishing the image for any business, advertising or other trade use. The images on this site are sold for personal use only. If you would like to inquire about commercial use, please contact us directly.
Does Owens Sport Photos process my credit card?
No. We use a clearing-house to process all the credit card orders. For more information about our credit card policy see the privacy policy statement of this web site.
Will you keep my credit card number?
No. We use the credit card information that you give us to charge your card for the photos you buy through a secure web connection. We only store the card type and the last four digits of the card number in our database for reference purposes, should you contact us about your order. We do not store any of the rest of your card information. This is why you'll need to give us your card number again the next time you shop with us.
